Integrating Behavior and Technology-based Quality Management System to Improve Raw Milk Quality Collected by Bandung Dairy Cooperative

Abstract. Milk quality is represented by Total Plate Count (TPC) value, the indicator of microbial contamination number in milk after production. The standard value determined and set Codex SNI 3141:1:2011 standards. higher TPC lower raw milk. This determines category which impacts payment scheme quantity supplied to Processing Industry. As a consequence, farmers who collected received unfavorable financial outcomes.The aim research was eliminate defects focusing on control production system using Six Sigma approach. Defects per Million Opportunity (DPMO) calculation used measure product every one million opportunities. In this study, DPMO showed 155,854 bulk collection held 5 TPK. Two factors decreased were milking process process.To overcome issue, technology behavioral-based management systems are integrated effectively efficiently. Digital point proposed avoid during through digitalization data recording, test performed individual samples, access results. can decrease required time testing process. To raise awareness towards good farming practice, barn inspection implemented procedure infographics, Good Farming Practice training, farmer certification.Keyword. system; dairy industry; digital collection; technology; behavior
